TransContinental Drivers Association (henceforth “the association”) was formed to celebrate the rich history of innovative, safe, and efficient cross-country driving efforts, and those who love the idea of “the long drive”.
While the association is managed by former transcontinental/Cannonball record-holders, the purpose of this site is NOT to be governing body over individual’s cross-country drives. Our goal is to present the history, stories, links to related news stories, books and other resources. We also want to provide the source-of-truth when it comes to terminology surrounding this obscure hobby.
To fund the upkeep and costs associated with this site, we will provide celebratory / commemorative artifacts to individuals who have completed a run, along with merchandise to fans and enthusiasts. Check back often for new items in our store at https://shop.transcondrivers.org
